Join Jamie Lang, 300-hr RYT and Courtney Codina, LAc for a rejuvenating Yoga & Acupuncture Workshop!

During this workshop Jamie will lead the group through a Restorative Yoga practice. As you settle in and get cozy, Courtney will provide a relaxing group acupuncture session. As acupuncture is being provided, Jamie will come around to offer Reiki healing.

The acupuncture in this session is used as a general relaxation treatment. Courtney will choose points that help to calm down the nervous system, increase circulation, relieve stress, relax muscles, and soothe the mind. These points have a regulatory effect on the body, bringing you back to a balanced state, so they’re generally appropriate for anybody.

Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. Reiki practitioners use a technique called palm healing or hands-on healing through which a "universal energy" is said to be transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing. Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and well-being.

We will take time at the beginning of the workshop to discuss acupuncture and what to expect, and answer any of your questions.

What to bring: yoga mat, blanket, neck pillow, anything to help you get comfortable (or choose to leave your props at home and use the props provided by the studio)
